Bill Nesbitt — Graphic DesignerI design Web sites, brochures, print ads, logos, trade show displays, newsletters, PowerPoint presentations, CD cover art — I consider myself a full-service graphic artist.• Ads (this page) • Brochures (next page) • Other stuff (magazine covers, tradeshow displays, Web pages, PowerPoints, CD covers...) I charge by the hour,
and my fee is negotiable, depending on volume of work. I work on a PC,
which is still a bit unusual for a graphics person, but not as unusual
as it used to be, especially since the advent of the Internet. I use Quark
XPress, Macromedia Dreamweaver and a variety of draw and paint programs,
plus have video capture and editing capabilities. All of this (including
PC vs. Apple) matters much less these days, since virtually all publications
accept PDF files. I'm also fluent in PowerPoint and am good at proofing
copy. |
| Here are some examples of ad layout. The original concept for this row was developed by a Little Rock ad agency. I, as one-half of the ALLTEL IFS marketing department at the time, was charged with further development of the general concept with new headers, copy and designs. I did a bunch of these over a two-year period. | |||
| Here are some more examples. I did design on all four, concept and copy on the last two. I did all the photo compositing, as well as feathering and other special effects. | |||
| Here are some ads for Hall Manufacturing, home of the Bush-Whacker industrial mower. I did layout on all, photography on some. These ads have appeared or are appearing in several national trade publications. | |||
