The Clark Family Trio, features Cindy Clark on bass and vocals, her daughter Sallie Ann Clark on guitar and vocals, and their friend Bill Nesbitt on guitar, mandolin, banjo and vocals. The Trio is listed with Arkansas Arts On Tour and have been featured at Silver Dollar City, the Ozark Folk Center, the Eureka Springs Folk Festival, the Eureka Springs Bluegrass Weekend, Our Saturday Musical in Mountain View, the Woodsongs Old Time Radio Hour, Ozark Highlands Radio, KASU Bluegrass Monday, and many other notable venues. The Trio draws from a large variety of musical styles, including Bluegrass, Folk, Country, Jazz, Pop and Gospel, always infusing their sound with tight three-part harmonies and Nesbitt's instrumental work.Sallie Ann Clark, now 16 years old, has literally grown up singing with her family, and continues to grow in her musical abilities as part of the Trio, lately working her acoustic guitar into the mix. Her distinctive voice has become well-known around Arkansas and beyond. Ask anybody who has heard her -- she sings WAY beyond her years!Cindy Clark started playing bass when her sons, Harry and Jed, formed a bluegrass band and started entering contests, among them being the Youth in Bluegrass contest at Silver Dollar City. They won, and Cindy’s career as a bassist was on its way. She sings lead and harmony vocals with equal skillfulness.Bill Nesbitt came into the picture in 2011 after Harry and Jed went their separate ways touring the country with bluegrass bands. Bill heard the ladies sing together and knew there was an opportunity to form a successful vocal band. The Trio originally consisted of Cindy, Sallie and older sister Sophie, with Bill providing accompaniment and the occasional vocal. After a couple of years of playing shows and festivals, Sophie decided to depart to pursue a college degree. Since then, Bill has been lending his vocal talents more and more to complete the Trio sound.
